I painted these roses in tribute to my friend, Fred Walsh, on the occasion of his dear wife Sylvia’s funeral. Because I had a sprained wrist at the time, it is painted with my left, non-dominant hand. Virtually all of my other works are painted with my right hand.
Rose per Sylvia
Ho dipinto queste rose in omaggio al mio amico, Fred Walsh, in occasione del funerale della sua cara moglie Sylvia. Perché avevo un polso slogato al momento, è dipinto con la mia mano sinistra, non dominante. Praticamente tutte le mie altre opere sono dipinte con la mia mano destra.
